Bonny

Meet Bonny! A lovely 8 year old Shar-Pei mix pup. We are looking for a very specific family for Bonny as she has been through a lot. Bonny’s owner died, and her family dropped her off at a dump site. She had to fight for her life everyday, making sure she could eat, drink, not freeze to death or be killed by other stray pack dogs. We believe she lived at that dump site for a few months, until our volunteers were notified, and we immediately picked her up. She is spayed, vaccinated, and de-wormed. Overall, Bonny is in good health. Bonny has to be an only dog, and can’t be in a home with children or cats. She has a friendly, yet defensive personality, which does come from the fact that she had to survive in a hostile environment. Bonny is leash trained, and is very loving once she gets to know her owner.
