Meet SASHA, she is a disable dog located in Boston under the care of our rescue partners BigLittleLifeRescue

Sasha is 3-4 years old, and is the gentlest soul in the world. She is great with everyone she meets and is absolute love bug! Sasha was rescued from a horrible, neglectful hoarding situation. We do not know how she survived In that horrible place, as she has such sweet personality and is so gentle. She lived on a short chain, attached to a broken, tiny and rotten dog house. When we took her, she was trying to hide her last (already dead) puppy in that doghouse. Her front leg is missing the paw, and when we rescued her, she was HW positive. Now, 6 months later, she is HW negative, healthy, and strong. Sasha is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. The only thing she kept from her previous life is her constant hunger. We will have to watch her diet - especially now, as we are hoping to get her a prosthetic paw, so that she could run as any other dog.
