Welcome To RR Animal Rescue

We are devastated with the news: CDC announced that US is suspending all dog import from 110 countries, including Russia. The ban is effective on July 14, 2021, and will be in place for a minimum of 12 months (to be reviewed sometime after that). This is catastrophic for many rescues, and will result in a loss of many, many lives. - BUT THE MISSION MUST GO ON - R&R Animal Rescue will be a partner charity to County of Ventura Animal Service. Please stay with us.

R&R Animal Rescue is a relatively new nonprofit organization. We are a family run rescue, and truly love what we do. Our mission started when we first rescued our two tea cup Maltese baby boys. One of the boys, Rocky, was used in the film industry, and appeared in a TV show. During the filming process, he was severely mistreated, and deeply traumatized. Once we got him into our care, we just fell in love, and he continued living with us for the next eleven years. At roughly the same time, we got another tea cup Maltese boy, Rambo, who was born to a breeder, but had physical differences, making the breeder no longer want him. Rambo was born the smallest, and the last, and he also had out-turned feet, at times, making walking slightly challenging...

This is Pippa. She is a tiny love bug. Only 12 lbs bundle of joy! Pippa is 1 yo. Was found in a middle of the nite in a rain . She was sitting under. a big leaf that completely covered her trembling body.

Paula is a sweet 20 lbs little girl. She is 1 to 1.5 years old.Paula was rescued from median of a busy interstate highway, when she was about 4 weeks old.
